The historic center of Naples for years has also been the beating heart of the Camorra. Under the rule of the Giuliano Clan, which had as its stronghold in the Forcella district, it was established the command of all the illegal activities of the city. Everyone had to answer to Giuliano’ Clan for any kind of illegal activity.

Today with the repentance of the Head of the clan, that is: Luigi Giuliano called “O ‘RE” (The King), the district has lost its importance that once covered the ranks of the underworld, becoming a land of conquest for the various clans who have embarked on a policy of expansion on the city territory. There are a number of illegal activities in the neighborhood where a large number of inhabitants of the district are employed and no longer having a cornerstone.

Forcella is often the prey of loose dogs who organize micro illegal activities such as small drug or trans-drug bases and prostitutes who they choose their home as a workplace.
